Mississippi

Pascagoula

We are currently stationed in Pascagoula, Mississippi. The base is great; everything is easy access once you are on base. The NEX is pretty small but very friendly. For grocery shopping, we go to the Keesler AFB located at about 30 minutes west to Pascagoula. People are just fantastic, would they be working at the Keesler Credit Union Bank, NEX, Fleet and Family Support Center, gym, etc. and at the Headquarters. The Navy Ball was held last October 15 at the Treasure Bay Hotel/Casino in Biloxi. The gulf coast is great with all kinds of activities and places to go. There is no on-base housing. We live in Pascagoula itself and it is a very nice place to live. People are nice. You can also choose to live in Gautier or Ocean Springs. No matter where you choose to live, you are not far from Highway 90 that will take you anywhere. Now we are getting ready to celebrate Mardi-Gras. Pascagoula Naval Base is a wonderful place to be and people are very nice and dedicated to the Navy and families.
