McChord AFB

We live on McChord AFB and truely enjoy living on base. The installation is quite clean and well maintained. The youth center is an ideal spot for the youngsters. Ft. Lewis is 5 minutes away and that base is really large. Ft. Lewis movie theater charges .99 cents per customer while McChord movies are free. Either way, it is a bargain. On the bad side, the traffic outside the bases is horrible. If you do not like stop and go traffic, do not come here. If it was not for the bumper to bumper traffic outside the bases, McChord or Ft. Lewis are a good selections.
