Fort Sill

What is there to say about Fort Sill? Its hot hot hot hot. Other than the heat there is so much History here to embrace. I was amazed to find out all the historical aspects of FORT Sill. From Geronimo's grave here on post to the Fact the house that the Post Commander lives in there was a fight there between the americans and indians when a peace treaty was supposed to be signed. The list goes on and on. We are in an ideal place right between Oklahoma City where there is lots to do and Texas. You can travel on the weekends and not even break Army regulations by going over your 250 miles. I only wish Lawton had a Target and a Chuck E Cheese but there are two walmarts k mart and many discount stores. The wildlife refuge is Free and fun for the family. They have camping and just good old sight seeing. Fort Sill is not as bad as some say it is. Home is what you make it if you are stuck here for God knows how long suck it up get on the canoe and start exploring. Amy*
