Ft. Irwin

We have been here over a week and still dont have a place to live. Housing should be waiting for people who are arriving. I have cried more in the past week than in my whole life. We have been to three other bases together and they were great. I never imagined a place like this existed. Feels like we are in another country, a very poor and pathetic one. Shame on the people who feel this is a place families should be brought. Those who live here by choice should have their head examined. If someone I love gets injured on the deathtrap going into post, there will be serious hell to pay. If my husband ever gets stationed here again he will be going solo. He will also be on his own in two years if we are not out of here. I tried to talk him into going AWOL, but the darn man is just to committed to our country.
