Fort Hood is Good!!

Hi Everyone!! My name is Misti and I have been living in Fort Hood for a year now and I can honestly say that it is very convenient for us. Fort Hood is only about 3 miles away from the mall, Wal-Mart, HEB, and all kinds of shopping centers. There is plenty to do, fishing, swimming, hunting, shopping, and etc. You would definetly enjoy yourself. Housing is great!! Everything is always taken care of and if you have any problems just let them know. Child Daycares are wonderful on base and there are plenty of jobs. The only thing is that there are a lot of people around all of the time. We are trying to explore the different bases as my hubby wants to reenlist so if you have any good comments about certain bases besides the ones in Texas or Louisiana. I hate hurricanes!! But yes I say Fort Hood is definetly good.
