Pearl Harbor

Living in Pearl Harbor was wonderful. There is always something to do in Hawaii. My husband and I always went to Waikiki Beach. I miss it so much. The people are friendly for the most part. I utilized MWR every weekend for discounted tickets to events in Honolulu. The commissary and the Nex is like no other commissary and Nex you have ever seen. It is awesome. It's a mall for the military. The commissary is gorgeuos. You have to check it out. There is over 25 check out lanes. The check out lanes are computerized and tell which lane to go to next. I enjoyed the luau's the most. I made many friends in Hawaii. My husband and I are currently stationed in Norfolk. I like it but not as much as Hawaii. Norfolk has a high crime rate. The city is doing much to improve the appearance and crime of Norfolk. The surronding cities such as Chesapeake, Virginia Beach and Newport News are nice.
