Little Rock AFB

We lived on LRAFB for a little over 5 years. The housing is very old and we must have gone through 4 air conditioners! And our base house flooded, a sewage pipe backed up into our living room. They are in the process of remodeling them though, but don't expect them all to be ready for another 7-8 years! The commissary is very nice, lots of tent sales. The base is about 15 minutes from Little Rock. So it's not too bad for shopping. Just don't live on base!!! I would live in Sherwood, Cabot, or North Little Rock. (The outskirts of Jacksonville). People weren't as friendly as I was used to. But it was okay. Beautiful scenery. And gas is always cheaper on base!
