This is our 2nd overseas tour (1st Keflavik, Iceland which is now closed) and we are enjoying it, esp the kids. Lots of things to do all year round.We have an original 4 year tour but, now we just got extended for another 3yrs (thank God for that). ITT has great and affordable (sometimes free) tour if you don't want to drive around locally or trips to Mainland Japan,Thailand,China and other neighboring countries. Or take a hop to Osan Ab Korea, Yokota, Hickam & other bases. If you love beaches, snorkelling or scuba diving, this is the place to be. Lots of restaurant to explore, soba (Okinawan noodles)tempura,sushi & sashimi, can't go wrong w/ those. Some vegs & fruits are a little costly. Local people are friendly, narrow roads, not adviceable to buy brand new car. Summer time is great, just shirt and shorts, winter time not too cold just light jacket or sweater. Got a lot of junk, they have flea markets which you could make $200 or more easily. It's 2hours by air to the Philippines for all of you Pinoys out there!!!
