First off RAF Croughton (94-97), loved the country, hated the base, it was small & people were all in your business & the school at the time was on a BIG kick on putting little kids on Ritalin even if they didn't need it. Next was Offutt - loved it - loved our house & I made more money than my husband there. The con of course was the heavy snow. Keesler was alright - I had a lot of friends in Biloxi & we moved before Katrina. Schools are a little behind - Texas would not take my 11th graders math credits. Now we are at Pope until retirement. We lived in the new housing & I hated it (about 900 sq ft). Just moved to larger house that doesn't have that horrible flooring in it. Speeders are really bad & the sp's really don't give a darn. The school has been very good for my youngest & has been flexible as we had 2 major deaths in the family last year & are very busy with my oldest getting ready to graduate in TX.
