Great for snow lovers!

Hill AFB. UT

We have been here at Hill, AFB for 4.5 years now. If you like outdoor activities, this is a perfect place. Fishing, Hiking, Skiing...etc. The Ski Resorts are within an hour's drive. Lots of places for shopping!! Local people arent as friendly as my Cannon, AFB Clovis locals. Traffic off base is CRAZY,we call it the Mormon 500, these people are pretty reckless, your auto insurance will increase just being stationed here! I am looking forward to us getting orders simply because I dont like winter weather. The base is undergoing construction (new base housing) So if your lucky you may get into a new base house when you get here. Unfortunately for us, we are in the old 1950's house. Anyhow, could be worse bases to get stuck at.
