Fort Bliss - weather

contiued WEATHER: Sunny. Sunny. More sunny. And windy. They have a 'windy season' here but I still have yet to figure out when it begins/ends. It seems like its been windy here on and off since we got here. I think it is only suppost to be in the spring though. Make sure you don't leave stuff outside that can get blown away. I have several potted plants and one has been blown over several times. Would be more if I didn't bring them in when it gets really bad. Due to the dryness I have to water them frequently. It doesn't rain much though so most people don't have grass in their yard. A lot of the nicer places just have decorative stones all over the yard. The places that try to have grass have very thick dry grass. The dryness is also terrible on your skin. Make sure you have lots of lotion and chapstick. The really super hydrating protecting kind. Most people will have some part of their skin get so dry it cracks when they first get here. The dryness also messes with some peoples health. There is dust blowing around a lot too.
