Ft Bragg

I was reading the reviews on Ft Bragg and the one that was totally putting it down was so wrong. We have been here for almost 6 yrs and will be here the rest of his career. I will be honest yes when I first got here I wanted out of here big time, I wanted to go back to where we were. But since we have bought our own house out in the country I have become to love the area. Parts of Fayetteville are not the greatest but then again every town and city will be the same way. If you get out and explore you will find things to do and you will find family things to do as well. Might have to drive but still worth it. Myrtle Beach is 2 hrs away and very nice. We have went down there for the weekend and had a blast and did not spend a fortune (mind you yes certain times of the year prices for hotels will go up but you just have to look), all the other beaches that are in NC are the same as Myrtle in SC about 2 hrs away, the zoo is about an 1 and half away, Bush Gardens is about 4 hrs away. But like I said there is stuff to do you just have to be willing to drive. I have a wonderful group of friends here as well and we always have get togethers, birthday parties and just what ever. Having good friends makes the place even better. I look at it this way each post will be different but in reality they are basically the same, and home is where the army moves you make the best of it.
