NAS Key West

Obviously isolated duty, no decent shopping unless you drive the 3 hours to Miami. Locals are generally friendly, however there are plenty of scumbags. Property taxes are rediculous, as are homeowners insurance prices. You WILL have to evacuate for hurricanes, its inevitable. Commisary is small as is the NEX, but they are still stocked fairly well. If you dont like to drink, fish, or scuba dive, this is not the place for you. ou will be bored, and absolutly hate the Keys. But if you like the outdoor, Salt Life lifesyle, you will be amazed at what Key West has to offer you.
