Fort Leonard Wood

Only been here for a short while and it´s not bad, especially when compared to Fort Polk, my previous duty station. Biggest complaint is on post housing. STAY AWAY! They will try to pawn run down ghetto project housing for all your BAH when you can find much better off post. They showed us a house and it was purely pathetic and embarrasing. They keep claiming no new housing is available for over a month now. They blow you off and act like they don`t care about your requests. We`ve decided to live off post due to the God awful housing on post. If you`re coming from Polk or Irwin, enjoy, it's better here!
