fort campbell and others

I saw another review that said they visited Fort Bragg near Arlington National Cemetery, however that's not true, they aren't even in the same state. Fort Bragg is in North Carolina, and Fort Myer is the one that is next to the cemetery. Both are nice places. Fort Myer is in the DC metro area and I was there for five years. If you are going there, do not live in housing on Fort Myer. Live off post or in housing at Fort Belvoir. I am now at Fort Campbell, KY and I have to say this place is a total disgrace. The housing is terrible, the families are disgruntled, and the divorce rate is the highest here than any other military post. That's probably because you don't make enough money in this area to survive unless you drive the 45 minute drive to Nashville. This isn't a bad idea, after all i did it. It's a lot better money and nicer people. Clarksville and Oak Grove are very small town where everybody who is not in the military here knows each other, and are nice to each other. However, the military here is terrible. There are no family supports groups, there is no help, and good luck getting housing, the waiting list is at least a year or more. So, to sum it up...DO NOT COME TO FORT CAMPBELL, if you can help it. Otherwise if you need advice i'll be more than happy to help you out.
