Camp Lejeune, NC

Camp Lejeune is a wonderful place to be! Everything you need on and off base. Surfing over at Topsail Island, Clubing at Wilmington, D.C. and Florida are only a days drive away. The weather has all four seasons, locals are a bit hick, but you don't meet too many in J-ville. There's a long waiting list for housing on base, but house mortgages and rent are both inexpensive compared to the rest of the country. It's easy to re-sale or rent your house once you leave. The job market is slim-pickings for spouses, pay very low, even with a Bachelors/Masters. Volunteer work is plentiful! The USO Club is historical. Very, very friendly people there!
