Fort Bragg and Fort Campbell

I was actually shocked to see the bad review for Fort Campbell! We lived there for 2 years and I would go back any day. The school my children attended was wonderful. Although the on post housing could use improving for jr enlisted, the neighbors were extremely friendly and supportive. The waiting list wasn't too bad (about 10 months for jr enlisted 4 bedroom). I must say that I LOVED Fort Campbell!! Now, Fort Bragg on the other hand is the WORST place to be! Granted, there is plenty to do, but the very rude people make you want to stay home. The housing for jr enlisted is horrible (at least Nijmegan)and to actually get housing to do something about it is impossible. I thought I was moving to a base with "southern hospitality" but I was sadly mistaken. Avoid Bragg if you can!!!!!!
