Fort Hood

We moved to Ft.Hood in 1997 and just moved to Ft.Knox in 09/2002. I liked Ft.Hood alot, Commisarys are big, 2 large Px and they do alot for Family's.Housing, after a 2 year wait, we where lucky and got to move in Liberty Village, 2 Bedroom- full Brick house, taken care of very well by Contractors not the Army.The Hospital was great, i had my baby there and a room to myself.Austin and 6th Street are the places to go for fun.Alot of restaurants and a nice Super Walmart.Do not move to Copperas Cove, nasty City with nothing in and around it.Killeen is not cheap and has some nice areas.Nice and cheaper is Harker Hights.The heat is not as bad as it was a few years ago and you will get use to it.After moving to Ft.Knox I learned that Ft.Hood is very organisiert and family friendly, I loved Blora Lake !!!
