My husband and I are currently stationed at Ft. Hood, Tx. It is ok if you like Texas I guess! It isn't the worst place on earth! We used to be stationed at Ft. Campbell, Ky and I think it is a lot better than here. But it is ok. If you are moving here, I think Copperas Cove is the best place to live. I know I did read a message someone else put on here and it said that Cove is trashy or something in that nature, but it really isn't. It is more like your small town atmosphere. And it is very expensive to live in Killeen. I wouldn't say Killeen is exactly classy either. When we lived off post we lived in Copperas Cove and lived in a pretty nice neighborhood. You just really have to look and not take the first place you see. But overall it is ok. I know a lot of people who love it here. I think every person is different. You have to experience something in order to find out what it is REALLY like. Oh I will tell ya it is really big! I here it is the biggest Army installation.
