McGuire AFB

Oh boy where to start. I can tell you that we have been here only 8 months and we are ready to leave. It sucks here to put it in nice words. The housing is old but ok I have seen worse. The people in housing never talk to each other to make friends. There is alot of trash sitting around that should be cleaned up that hasn't been. The kids are bad here, destroying the playground equipment, throwing trash everywere. The cost of living her is very high. You have to drive to get to any kinda department store. Alot of NJ people are very rude and very bad drivers. The moral on this bases is the lowest I have ever seen. I have had a good experience with the schools here though. My son is in K-4 and they have helped me greatly with his speech problem. The Bx/Px & Commissary is small and old. Nothing gets done on this base unless the Head Man wants it done. If you can keep from coming here I WOULD! I can't wait to leave this base!!!
