Grand Forks AFB, ND

Grand Forks, ND...is the best kept secret. The base is GREAT! The people on and off base are friendly and willing to help at a drop of a hat. The weather is cold in the winter but there is alot of things to do. Ice fishing is wonderful. Grand Fork Public schools offer a variety of classes, spanish in elementary..yes. Education from k - 12 and college is great. Wonderful teachers and base personel. Housing CES,and 92 Services are willing to help andmake your stay @ GFAFB the best! The only down fall is if you're single - there's not much nightlife. For families ..it's GREAT! I guess that why so many people station here wants to stay. FRIENDLY: the best word to decribe Grand Forks AFB and the surrounding towns.
