my hubby was stationed here for about 1.5 years before i moved out there (i'm from GA). i drove out, got married, had our daughter, then moved back to GA so he could go to South Korea then Kuqait then Iraq (he'll be back next year).
anyway-Oklahoma was my first experience out of the south (out of GA really). but i grew to love it. the summers were too hot but we managed. rent wasnt too bad at all. the last 6 months we were there we had a great 3 bedroom house in a nice neighborhood for only $400 month. so if you're getting stationed out there in Ft Sill-dont worry its a nice place, not too big and not too little and lots of nice people and 2 super walmarts :D
