ANDERSEN AFB, GUAM

WOW! IS ALL I CAN SAY ABOUT THIS BASE. WE WERE STATIONED HERE FOR FIVE YEARS THE FIRST TIME THEN WE GOT LUCKY AND WENT BACK FOR A COUPLE OF MORE YEARS. THE LOCAL PEOPLE ARE THE NICEST PEOPLE IVE EVER MET. IT MAY TAKE ONLY 45 MINUTES TO GET FROM THE NORTH POINT OF THE ISLAND TO THE SOUTH POINT, BUT WITH SO MANY LITTLE VILLAGES SOMETHING IS ALWAYS GOING ON. THERE ARE SO MANY FIESTAS AND SO MANY HOLIDAYS THE PEOPLE CELEBRATE. THE WEATHER IS AWESOME AND THE BEACHES ARE BEAUTIFUL. WITH THE BASE BEING SMALL YOU MAKE A LOT OF CLOSE FRIENDS AND YOURE NEVER BORED. IF YOU HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO GO TO ANDERSEN YOU WONT BE DISSAPOINTED.
