We live on base, it is like living in the getto. People that tell you that the place is good, it a lie. It rains, and rains and rains. Equity does not implement the rules for cleaning up and people keep garbage and old trucks next to their houses. They also started meter on houses, so they can start charging us for the electricity, like if we are not paying enough with our husbands being at war and away from their family. It's not easy to find a job here, I'm a professionnal and it tool me a couple of weeks. People have sticks up their ass and they are so nasty. I am looking foward to our next assignment. By the way seattle is 45 minutes drive and there is not that much to do. And the family support group had multiple complaints about them. good Luck if you are coming to Ft "desperate" Lewis.
