New London Subbase

I like it here in Groton,Ct. I grew up in Louisiana, due to being an Air Force brat and never had many white Christmas memories. Well, you can certainly have some awesome white Christmas memories here. The houses around this area start at about 200K and go up from there. It's not all that bad if you concider the fact that your BAH will be paying your house note. I have enjoyed my time here and will certainly miss this area when I eventually leave. If you have a chance, I would advise you to visit in early summer. This way you can catch all of the festivals like "Sail Fest".
