Laughlin AFB

Laughlin is a snug little base tucked away on the Texas/Mexico boarder. It is very quiet and quaint. If you enjoy the small town feel, you'll get it from this cozy little base and the small town of Del Rio just ten minutes away. The housing is nice and very well maintained. The facilities are excellent. There is a very small BX and Commissary but it is sufficient for the 2000+ service members and their families. Three hours east is the beautiful city of San Antonio where you also have four more military bases (Lackland AFB, Randolph AFB, Brooks AFB, and Ft. San Houston) to choose from.
