Elmendorf AFB,AK

Well my review so far..is, im from AZ.I'm use to the bigger city and lots to do all yr round.The snow is new to me,and i only been here for a yr so far. If u like the cold its great, and like fishing and outdoor stuff..but that only lasts so long with the snow and all.Its starts snowing in october and totally clears up around April. We been enjoying what we can..but will i be glad to leave.YES.Im just one of those ppl i guess who likes to stick to what they know,and i love the lakes and sun.Anyway..for moms out there who r maybe to new to the area on base or off base, I found a great site to join for playgroups and such on MSN definately try it..ill be here till aug of 2007 If after that..it may still be up and running of not try some groups here to join.Isat for 6 months and didnt know about them and was very lonely. http://groups.msn.com/MilitaryMomsandTots
