Ft Bragg

We have been at Bragg for going on three years now and I can't wait to get out. We have 4 kids the schools are about all bragg has to offer for kids unless you are upper enlisted. being large family it would literally cost us 50.00 each time we go out as a family (and thats including the fact that the smaller kids may not participate). Now if you are into clubbing this is the place for you. Ft Bragg's claim to fame = the small 24 hour shoppette hs the top alcohol sales for the entire country (this building is the size of an AM/PM) they have just remodeled so there are i think 3-4 isles of liqure and wine and an entire row of refridgerated coolers for your favorite beer which is on sale almost every weekend. WARNING: dont run out of milk after commisarry hours. that same 24 hour shoppette marks theirs up 2.00 more and I have been there twice in one week to find their one and only door for dairy in the cooler section was out of gallons and half gallons of i had to settle for a quart of skim at full price. there are ALOT of bars, car lots and pawn shops everywhere you look ( these are landmarks because this state doesnt believe in road signs either that or the insane drivers have just hit all the signs?)Chick -E- Cheese is conviently directly cross the street from hooters (so dad can bail on the fun?) please sty off the streets at the drunk hour for your own safety the drinking and driving is a turn cheek situation ( dont want to ruin anyones career but pay no mind to the lives lost from drunk drivers) if you do get stationed here and you have kids go to the neighboring base Pope AFB, it is beautiful over there. so clean and well kept you will notice a difference as soon as you drive on Pope its like a park!
