Fort Polk

We moved down here a couple of months ago and were quite shocked by the change. It is very secluded but it is quiet at the same time. A very small town feeling to it. The base seems very family oriented and things on base are very close together which is very nice. The roads are terrible but they just started working on them. If you like to take things slower and quieter then Fort Polk is the way to go. Probably won't like it much if you are single.
