NTC in Fort Irwin, Ca hda really nice housing and the elementary schools was far at all. The climate was nice all year. The only downs I would say would have to be the fact the commissary would close at 5:30 not fairly enough time to go shopping if you had a job. The PX was small but they tried to offer as many items as other retail stores. The next town was Barstow, which was a 45 minute drive. Victorville was at least a hour away and they had a lot of outlet stores such as GUESS, OSH KOSH, GAP, and etc. The community was very carrying.
