We were at Ft.Stewart for 4.5 years. We LOVED it! Tons to do, and so close to everything. Savannah is so close, less than half an hour away, and its such a beautiful historic city, moss covered trees, plantations, ect. You can rent boats from Outdoor Rec and go fishing on the ocean or just go see the dolphins. I'm not a big fan of seafood, but they had alot of major restraunts such as Outback and Applebees. There's 2 big malls in Savannah also, and at least a couple of Walmarts, Kmarts. The housing at Ft.Stewart isnt all that great but living offpost is not that expensive. (in Hinesville) Even after all those years we were there, we still didnt get to do all things we wanted to do. Now we cant wait to retire to go back.
