Ellsworth AFB

We have been here almost one year. It is a great area for raising your kids if their young; however, there is no teen center here and the teen are bored. Base housing is nice and we were able to get on as soon as we moved here. They are building some new Jr. NCO housing which will be pretty nice and the houses will have a two car garage. The weather is not bad, most days are windy though. The area has a large variety of things to do and see. The only down side is that everthing closes in the winter. Houses are very expensive compare to what the median income is for this area. BX is very tiny, commissary is a good size. Instead of shopping at the BX we usually go about 10 miles to Wal-mart where we are able to find everything we need.
