Quantico,cpoint,whidbey,p-cola

nas pensacola for 2nd time

I have so far been to 5 different duty stations. Quantico was good, the weather was better in the summer months, but as a whole the area was great for families. We lived on base, so I really don't know housing costs. Nas Pensacola is great, the beaches are beautiful, and if you've never seen white sand this is the place to be. The home of The Blue Angels and housing costs here are very good! A brand new 4 bdrm home will run anywhere from 130k and up! The schools here are good. And there are a lot of churches here. And everything that you need is right here! There are 2 shopping malls and countless strip malls. If you can't find what you need here, you don't need it! Whidbey Island is small, but the people are friendly. You have to travel a bit to get to anything, the fall and winter months bring strong wind storms and a constant drizzle, and it is almost always cloudy. But, if you like outdoor sports like hiking camping and such, that is the place for you. The cost of living there is high, oh and another good point is, on a sunny day you can see the mountains with snow on top! It is beautiful. Lastly, Cherry Point is a good base, met a lot of friends there, it is just that you have to travel to get to anything. There is not much in the town where the base is.
