The base housing has IMPROVED GREATLY, we used to live in a tiny 2bdr apt. one bath upper floor and it had aspestic (sorry for the spelling) and rodents galore. But we just recently moved to the newer housing. BEAUTIFUL (compared to wear I was at). The smallest, I believe, is the type that we got. Three bedroom 2 1/2 bath good sized rooms. BIG kitchen personal garage connected to the house (the last one wasn't) Like two dinning room areas living room walk in closets BIG back yard. I love it, but I still don't like the base that much there isn't much to do. And the town runs the base, they don't have a taco bell in town and they never will, but the base won't put one in because they don't want to upset the town. I do like the health care treatment that I recieve from the specialty clinic (if you go to any other one it sucks so bad). I have found that most people are rude and don't want anyone to be friends WITH ANYONE. Lets just say I can honestly say that I meet most of the base in depression groups and anxiety groups than I do anywhere else. That should say alot about the base. People have told me to just give it a try, I HAVE. Kmart went out of business and the only store left is walmart. You can only buy cloths at two other stores in this SMALL town Jennies which is for teenage girls and D&B a horse food store oh yeah and Pauls market, yup you guessed it a GROCERIES store the upper level has cloths!That is it!!!!!!!!!! My husband and I even love hunting and fishing but it is so windy here it is often immpossible. And to go hunting you must first drive almost 75-90 miles if you want to hunt more than poorly feed mule deer.
