Ft. Hood

My husband and I came to Ft. Hood in 2002 from Wisconsin. This is our first duty station, and I think Ft. Hood is ok but there isn't nothing to do unless you go to Blora which is really nice. Jobs here suck really bad, everyone saying that jobs are easy to come by...uh... NO!! The weather is HOT in the summer and not all that cold in the winter, I really miss the snow in Wisconsin!! Housing is really nice and yes there is a long waiting list but once your on Post its GREAT!! There are 2 Commisaries and 2 PX's, they are really nice as well. If I had a choice to come back to Hood, I wouldn't come back!
