Each post is what you make of it, but you cannot change the surrounding areas of the posts. Fort Carson was the best installation we have ever been stationed at. Fort Hood on the other hand, is getting entirely too big, and its not keeping up with the demands of all that are stationed here. Housing is being built, but the old quarters well they will continue to put people in those until they fall down around you. People are not real friendly on or around the post, but in other areas of Texas are some of the sweetest people.
