Seymour Johnson AFB

We were there for 3 yrs 2001-2004. It is a small town with nothing whatsoever to do for entertainment. The public schools there are HORRIBLE! You do not want to put your child in the public schools here. They are way behind in educational standards. They also offer no help for children with disabilities. The base is clean, and the housing is good. The BX is small. I hated the weather. During the winter it is always murky, cold, and rains ALOT (you will go weeks without seeing the sun)! In sum, I hated living there and hope to never have to see the state of NC again.
