What a nightmare! This is the last place you would ever want to go. Landstuhl Clinic is very bad, extremely poor service. Off base housing is great but very expensive. If you are looking for a place to hide out, not make friends, spend many, many extra hours covering for your coworkers that never show up for work, have no integrity, no honor, and consider self before service then this is what you are looking for. The commissary is nice, but the people are rude. The school system is very out dated, BK~Popeye's~Taco Bell~Baskin Robbins~Tony's Pizza are all bug infested. People are constantly getting sick. Popeye's especially, it is filthy. We were there for 3 very long years and have to say the worst people were the Americans, amazing.... Many people are begging to leave the area and not because of the war, the lifestyle or the people, it is the corruption. Way over the top....
