flight student's spouse

fort rucker, alabama

PIT of the earth, is the nicest thing i can say about this backwards place.Coming from Carson, which we were fortunate enough to be for nearly three years, this was like shell shock. The flight students are eye candy for those of you interested, but are the cockiest soldiers I have ever encountered. I am active in as many community events that there are, hoping that one or more can fill our weekends. Outside of driving 2 hours to get to the beach, or 4 hours to get to atlanta, or birmingham, which is worth it, there is nothing but solitude here. If you are planning a family, with a short term appointment here, or retiring, this place would be heaven. Safe, slow..very slow, and very community driven(nosey). Place your childern on post, as the test scores are at leaset comparable to the rest of the country. People are nice, in there own southern way, but be weary ye travlers, as the north did win the war after all, they just have not realized it yet! Racism rears its ugly head around nearly every bend, grin and bear it, but silently say..idot red necks, and walk away. stay in dothan before you live on post if it can be helped, as housing here is about 1-2 months behind schedual, and the customer service is rude, to say the least! In dothan you have half a city, with a mall, and great clubs to dance the night away with. Oh! and stop by Daleville, for a laugh..and sit in on comedy night wed night, with jai.she is the cute korean behind the bar, tel her jan says hi!
