We have lived many bases, but i have to say this base "IS THE WORST "If your looking for something to do here at Robins you can forget it !!!! this place totally bites.the weather is so freakin' hot you can hardly breathe. we're from Illinois so it gets really humid there. but here you feel like your suffocating!the winter months have a fluctuation in temps nothing compared to a chicago winter average .as for the base school it stinks ! lots of abusive teachers ! go private if you get sentenced to this prison !! as for the people " lets just say this is a" good ol' boy town "so if you werent born here you shouldn't be here but they'll smile at ya alot to keep the base open for the jobs. phoney !!there's not much for job s in the area ,fast food , super walmart, car sales , dollar stores. and a few places on base, occasionally. as for off base houseing. if you choose to rent well it's ghetto slum style cheap or ghetto style average. to buy, it's dump for average priced or holy crap in cost for the nicer homes with some actual square footage other than closet size. move to Nellis A.F.B.if you want a life beyond the military gates !!!Robins is the place to be" to fish" and grow old and stale.you'll pray to the god of skinny punks to get orders out of here just like us !!!
