Good.........fellow

Goodfellow AFB,Texas

We've been here a little over a year and we love it here. Very quiet town and everything is about 5-10mins drive away. People are very friendly. We live in a housing that is outside the base, less than 9miles away. There is a Recreational Camp as part of the services with pool tennis court and Rv parking lot if you have an RV. Other stores are less than 10mins drive and lots of restaurant to go to if you want to try Tex-Mex food. Cost of living is affordable/low.We've been visiting places during summer, like Sea World,Fiesta Texas,Six Flags,Fredericksburgh (where USS Nimitz museum),Dallas,Schlitterbahn rated # 1 waterpark for 2002 and other hstorical towns. The MWR Tour Office has always something to offer, trip to Acuna Mexico, horseback riding and other activities. It gets hot here but you can always dip on the pool.School system is very good, they ahve a university and a local college. But I warn you ---Halestorms!!!
